I have accepted the challenge of replacing him as Area Chair for the Chattanooga committee. I wanted to introduce myself as there are several of you that I have not met, yet. I accepted the position because Ducks Unlimited is an organization that I believe in. Just like all of you I have a passion for waterfowl hunting and want to do all I can to help preserve the sport/habitat. We have started planning for the 2009 banquet and are meeting at 6:30 every Monday night at the ChooChoo. Everyone is welcome to come by. The committee has several position openings. I know that for many of you a weekly meeting just doesn't fit into your schedule but you would still like to be involved. If that is the case please let me know. There are several things you can do to support the banquet, such as, sell tickets or help obtain sponsorships this year. I will be posting up the 2009 sponsor information in the next few days so we can get started. If approaching Sponsors isn't something you would like to do but have an idea of a potential sponsor let me know about that too. The Chattanooga DU chapter has come a long way in the last 5 years and I need your help to continue pushing the chapter higher. I look forward to working with all of you this year.
